Post production improvements

Improvement 1

8:28- 8:47

Not only in just this scene, throughout the radio programme some audio was inconsistent. In this scene, the main character's dialogue is loud and clear whilst the mothers lines appear really quiet. As they were recorded elsewhere and not on the main microphone it makes it sound like the audio is far away. To improve this, we should have brought the people into the studio, used a microphone too for them or make them record closer to the audio recording software we used outside of the school.

Improvement 2

10:00- 10:28

Throughout the interviews, the background audio feels too distracting. In some interviews, you could either hear static or a loud amount of background noise. To improve this, I believe we could have asked them to record their lines again together in a more quiet place or used a different audio recording software to record their lines so it sounds more clearer.

Improvement 3

5:21- 6:06

In this scene, the backing audio seems too loud. We would want the listeners to focus on the dialogue and instead of the music as it may seem to distracting, if we were to go back and do this I would make sure that all of the audio tracks stay consistent and that some music tracks do not sound too loud compared to the dialogue being spoken.
